This web page will allow you to access to the Decision Support System (DSS) demo version developed during the DesertNet 2 Project.

After logging into the system you will be able to access the DSS Graphical User Interface, to manipulate the various options that can be modified and to visualise the final results in the form of images and graphs.

A quick guide for using the DSS can be found in the web page. The DesertNet 2 demo includes 3 DSS examples, which are:

- Nurra Water Management DSS (a model that shows an example of how to simulate scenarios for managing the water distribution in the Nurra basin in the Sardinia region);

- VAB DSS (a model for the water management in the Vulture Alto Bradano, Basilicata Region, which provides alternative options for simulating various scenarios);

- Ecological Network DSS (an example that has been implemented in the Basilicata region and concerns the simulation of the application of a range of possible agro-environmental measures and their impact on the various indicators of degradation. The results are displayed in terms of maps showing the result of the application of the various measures).
